Statement from No Ukiah Annexation on the City of Ukiah Taking Down the Annexation Map

“No Ukiah Annexation expresses disappointment with the City of Ukiah. While city officials have stated their intention to engage in a community-driven process that includes all stakeholders, Councilmember Mari Rodin recently noted that city representatives plan to “soon bring back a new, proposed map.” In response, No Ukiah Annexation demands that the City Council immediately instruct staff to withdraw all annexation proposals, especially the one that would triple the city’s current boundaries, and to cease any further work or development related to it.”
